I reluctantly left Tucson after two wonderful days. If Harley and Lee had not been leaving  the day after I did for their vacation in Montana, I would have stayed longer. So early Monday morning the 28th I left Michael's before sunrise as he was headed to the office early and I really wanted to hit the road  while there was very little traffic on the road. We went to Starbucks for coffee, I then gassed up the car, and hit the road. I did not get far as Cadillac Ranch is just west of town and the dawn light was too ( Read more... )

Sophie was a ball of fun last night, totally wound up. As promised, one of the photos I took of her. She has grown tremendously since I saw her this summer and just about knows more Spanish than I do thanks to Dora the Explorer...

I am tired as all get out. Today's drive actually was nearly as long as again I had weather to deal with, plus heavier weekday traffic on the highways. Also, I TOTALLY forgot the time change issue, so was not accounting for that when I guessed what time I would make it to Raleigh and my brother's place.
